| Can you accommodate prescription lenses? |
Yes. We can have prescription lenses custom ground in the Tailored series (Classic frames). The lenses are made of high index material (1.60) which means your lenses will be thin and lightweight. We also offer clip-on loupes that can be mounted on most types of frames. Like any flip-up loupes, clip-on loupes generally work better on traditional frames or safety style frames with a large field of view. Small or petite frames (commonly worn by women) may not work well as the angle of declination may be such that you are looking through the loupes in an area not covered by the lenses. |

| How do I place an order for frames with prescription lenses? |
You must have a prescription from your optometrist or opthamologist that is less than 1 year old. You can fax the prescription for (817) 503-1826 or email the prescription to sales@prolightoptics.com. Call us at 817-313-0111 to to discuss your options and place your order! |

| What makes your LED light different from the competition? |
Some competitors offer a compact design with good luminance numbers but poor lighting. This is accomplished by focusing the beam in a tighter area. These ultra small lights typically use the older generation LED with a tightly concentrated beam to give a bright spot right in the middle of the beam. They measure the intensity of this small spot and claim that as the luminous intensity of their light. The beam however is not large enough to fill the field of view of 2.5 magnification loupes. The Fidelis LED addresses both of these problems with a different lens design used in conjunction with the brightest, latest generation LED available. Furthermore, the small lights have a very small area to dissipate the heat away from the LED, which causes the LED to lose intensity after getting hot, and severely shortens the life of the LED. Thanks to cooling fins on the Fidelis, the case and the LED stay cooler, for a brighter longer lasting light. |
